The University of Suffolk is a transformational university, custom built for a changing world. The University is proud to be celebrating its first year of independence. Following the granting of University title, the University of Suffolk came into being on August 1, 2016.
With a central campus located along the beautiful Ipswich Waterfront and a Learning Network of partner colleges across Suffolk, the University has strong connections with its local community, driving aspiration, achievement and economic growth. Courses at the University of Suffolk have been built with employability in mind, with 94% of graduates in 2015 going on to employment or further study. The University is committed to and actively encourages entrepreneurship and innovation.
The Ipswich Waterfront Innovation Centre (IWIC) located within The Atrium, is a focal point for developing entrepreneurs and ICT businesses, providing networking and collaborative opportunities.
The Innovation Hub in the James Hehir building offers the latest Fujitsu technologies, and the Atrium Studios provide a creative space for a range of start-ups in the creative industries.
