Mark Emms, Managing Director of Suffolk Coastal Norse and Waveney Norse
Norse has one of the largest workforces in Suffolk, and our subsidiaries in the county, Waveney Norse, Suffolk Norse and Suffolk Coastal Services are a part of the everyday fabric of its communities, touching the daily lives of the residents and businesses across the county. As such we have a real interest in all the issues that affect not only our companies, but also our present and future potential staff, customers and suppliers in Suffolk.
Norse has always been keen to play a role in its wider business communities, supporting the local supply chain, developing the skills market and taking part in discussions and activities that build commercial relationships.
Sponsoring The Youth Pledge category of the East Anglian Daily Times Business Awards 2017 helps us to be closely involved in the county’s wellbeing, to use our resources and influence in supporting the county’s future skills development infrastructure, thereby ensuring the sustainability of profitable economic growth for the benefit of the whole region as apprenticeships or work experience, or through engagement with schools and students through activity such as mentoring, employers can significantly enhance the prospects of our region’s young people.
